Roman Shades are such a versatile window treatment that can be appropriate for almost any room in the house, like the kitchen, office, or children’s bedroom. They provide privacy in a bathroom and can be made to accommodate nearly any size window.

Classic Relaxed Style:
The classic relaxed roman shade has no rods (plastic inserts) or rod pockets sewn into the shade's front fabric layer. Instead, rods are sewn into the lining layer on the back. If the lining is polycotton, you could see light going through the shade highlighting the rods on the back. You won’t see the rods with soft black out/dim out lining.
The shade doesn't have any horizontal stitches; however, you can see several small handmade stitches that hold front fabric layer and lining together. These stitches contribute to the straight lines created when shade goes up.
Please note that when these shades are paired with a soft black out or dim out lining, the lining tends to come in either a beige or silver-ish blue colour. For that reason, when a black out lining is requested with linens that have a semi-opaque characteristic (such as Tuscany, Cordoba, Utopia, or Gothic Stripe), we would first insert a white polycotton lining and then add a separate layer of full black out lining, to preserve the original fabric’s colour. The full black out comes with an additional cost/payment.

Your Relaxed Roman Shade will include the following:
- Drapery Fabric - Tuscany (100% linen)
- Premium lining
- Chain mechanism
- Weighted bar in bottom hem
- Piping at top of shade

For the shades wider and longer than 52" we will add to the width the equal parts of fabric to make the shade the width you need.
Shade will have 2 vertical stitches on the sides.

Roman Shade mechanism, brackets, screws and installation instruction are included in the package.
