London, balloon and Austrian shades

These folds are one family: fabric gathered so the hem billows instead of hanging straight. A London shade gathers at two points, leaving soft tails at the sides. A balloon shade billows across the full width. An Austrian shade is shirred in scallops down the whole face — the most formal of the three. We sew London and tulip shades made to order; for a balloon or Austrian shade, send us your window through a custom order and we will make it to the same 1/4″ standard.
