Choosing a floral print that fits the room
Start with scale. A large bloom reads calm on a wide window and busy on a small one; a small sprig does the opposite. Pull one colour the room already owns — a sofa, a rug, the tile — and let the print repeat it. Unsure between two? Order free swatches and pin them up for a day where the shade will hang.

Our florals are printed and woven on 100% linen and cotton — the same cloths every LOGANOVA shade is sewn from. Yes. Florals are one of the oldest window prints, and they keep returning reworked — block-print sprigs, botanical toiles, painterly blooms. On a Roman shade the print hangs flat like a panel of art, so a floral reads traditional or modern depending on scale and palette, not on the fold itself.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?
No screen shows fabric exactly — brightness and colour temperature shift every print. That is why swatches are free: order the fabrics you are considering, hold them in your own light, and decide from the cloth, not the photo. Swatch shipping is credited back to your shade order.
Can a floral Roman shade have blackout lining?
Yes. We sew a soft blackout lining behind the printed fabric, so the room side keeps the full print while the lining blocks direct light behind it. Choose the blackout option on any floral shade, or see all blackout Roman shades.
Do floral shades suit kitchens and bathrooms?
Yes — a Roman shade sits inside the frame, clear of counters and splashes, and a floral print carries the room's colour without adding clutter. Linen and cotton both work; add a privacy lining where the window faces neighbours. See our kitchen guide.
Chain, cordless or motorized?
All three. The child-safe chain is our standard and the easiest to live with; cordless keeps the window bare of hardware; motorized runs on a quiet rechargeable motor with remote and schedule. For very wide or tall shades we recommend chain or motor over cordless.
