Will a custom Roman shade fit my window?

Yes. Send your measurements and we will show you how to take them. Every shade is cut and sewn to your exact window within 1/4" (a quarter of an inch), and we send an approval sketch before we cut. If our mistake makes it wrong, we remake it.

How long does a made-to-order Roman shade take?

Your shade is made to order in our Toronto workroom and ships in 10 days or less. Most custom window treatments take six to eight weeks; ours do not.

Can I return a custom shade?

Custom means it is made for your window, so returns are not available. That is why we double-check sizing with you first and send an approval sketch before cutting. 2,000+ five-star reviews, and if it is our error, we make it right.

Do you offer blackout lining and cordless options?

Yes. Choose soft blackout or dim-out lining, and chain or cordless operation. Cordless is a child-safe choice for nurseries and bedrooms.

Why workrooms and DIY decorators choose it

The 7/16" profile is slim enough to sit inside a shallow door stile where a standard 1" rod will not fit, and rigid enough not to bow across a 48" span with a light panel. Brackets and screws are in the box, so a two-rod door install is one order, not three.

Ships from our Toronto workroom with UPS. We cover the UPS shipping cost on your behalf, and every order ships with tracking and signature required.

Under the CUSMA / USMCA free trade agreement, tariffs do not apply to this order. UPS may still charge a small brokerage and document-processing fee at the border — usually around $10 USD. That fee is charged by the carrier for the customs crossing, not by us, and it is the only additional cost you may see.

Questions

Will one rod hold a café curtain on a French door?
Yes for the top of the panel. A café curtain that is held at both top and bottom needs two rods — order quantity 2.

What size do I order?
Measure the opening from edge to edge. If it is 24", order the 18"–28" rod. If it is 36", order the 28"–48" rod. The rod adjusts within its range.

Do I need to drill into the wall?
No. The brackets mount inside the window frame or onto the door face with the included screws.

Does it come with brackets?
Yes — two brackets and screws are included with every rod.

Will I be charged duty?
No tariffs — the CUSMA/USMCA free trade agreement covers this order. UPS may charge a small brokerage fee of about $10 USD at the border for processing the customs paperwork.
