Will it fit my window?
Yes — each shade is sewn to your exact measurements within 1/8 inch, and we take the inside-mount deductions for you. Measure width and height, send us the numbers with your order, and follow our how-to-measure video if you are unsure.

What if I can’t return a custom shade?
Custom items aren’t returnable — so we make it right: order fabric swatches first to confirm colour and translucency, and we remake anything that’s wrong on our side. That promise has carried us through thousands of custom windows.

How long until it ships?
Most orders ship in 10 days or less, direct from our Toronto workroom — versus the industry’s usual 6–8 weeks for custom window treatments. Shipping is free across North America, and brackets, screws and installation instructions come in the package.

About the relaxed style, honestly:
Because Brent is a sheer linen, with a sheer or polycotton lining you may see the back rods when light is behind the shade, and you’ll notice a few small hand stitches on the front that keep the folds rising in clean lines. That’s the nature of a relaxed shade, not a flaw.

Which lining should I choose?
Choose sheer lining to keep the airy, light-filtering glow, or polycotton when you want more daytime privacy. We don’t offer blackout on a sheer linen — a dark backing would cancel the translucency that makes Brent special. If you want a true room-darkening shade, message us and we’ll point you to the right fabric.
