CUSTOM RIPPLE FOLD DRAPERY — MADE TO YOUR WIDTH, SEWN WITHIN 1/4 INCH
Most drapery sold online comes in three lengths and hopes one of them fits your window. We work the other way around. You tell us the width of your track and how long the panel needs to be, and we cut and sew that exact panel. Nothing is hemmed down from stock, nothing is folded over to fake a size.
The fabric is 120 inches wide and we railroad it, which means the weave runs across your window instead of up it. A single panel covers the full drop with no vertical seam anywhere in it, at any width we offer. Ripple fold panels are built on snap tape at 1:2.2 fullness, so the folds stand in an even wave instead of bunching at the ends.
We are Aspect Creative Agency in Toronto, and we have been making window textiles since 2001. My team and I cut and sew every panel in our own workroom — there is no factory in the middle of this, and no markup for the word "custom."

THE FABRIC
Far, from Alendel's Panorama Book. 100% polyester, woven in India, 120 inches wide. It is an opaque fabric with a faux-linen weave and a soft matte surface — it reads as linen across a room and behaves like polyester in a window, which is the point.
- Content: 100% polyester
- Width: 120 inches, railroaded
- Weight: 2.22 lb per yard
- Abrasion: 130,000 double rubs, per the mill
- Flame-retardant: passes NFPA 701 and FMVSS302
- Oeko-Tex certified
Those last three matter more than they sound. 130,000 double rubs is a contract-grade result, and NFPA 701 is what a condo board, a hotel, or a commercial fit-out will ask you for in writing. If you are specifying for a project rather than a single room, this is a fabric you can put on a schedule.
Ten colours: Polar, Ivory, Taupe, Khaki, Cocoa, Cloud, Elephant, Mauve, Laguna, Rhino.
Pick yours from the colour swatches at the top of this page. The two palette photos in the gallery show the same ten on the roll — Polar, Ivory, Taupe, Khaki and Cocoa in one, Cloud, Elephant, Mauve, Laguna and Rhino in the other. Every colour is the same price, so the number you see does not change with your choice.

TWO WAYS TO ORDER IT
With our track. Tell us how high the track is going up and we work the finished length out for you — we make the track in the same workroom and cut it to your width, so the two arrive matched.
With a track you already own. Send us the brand before you order and we will tell you whether our snap tape fits it. Then give us the finished length you want and we sew to that number.

HOW TO MEASURE — THE SHORT VERSION
Not sure where to start? We filmed a couple of short videos to walk you through it.

1. COLOUR: choose one of the ten Far swatches at the top of the page. They all cost the same. If you are deciding between two, order the samples first — the fabric reads differently in your own light than on a screen.
2. WIDTH: Measure your rod or track end to end. Pick the width at or above that number in the "Width" menu, then type your exact measurement in the "Coverage width" box — we sew to your number, not to the menu step.
That width is what the panel covers once it's gathered on the rod. We build the fullness in for you, so don't multiply anything.
Want two panels that meet in the middle? Measure your rod, divide by two, and order two panels at that size. A 100" rod is two panels at 50" each. The menu always means one panel, not the whole window.
3. LENGTH: this one depends on your rod.
Buying the rod from us along with the panel? Then don't measure the drop at all. Just tell us how high the rod is going up — how far off the floor it will sit — and we'll work the length out for you and cut it to match. Put that number in the "Height" box and add a line in Order notes saying it is the rod height.
Using a rod you already have? Then tell us the finished length you want: from the top of the panel down to where it should stop. Put that number in the "Height" box.
We make lengths up to 108 inches. Measure to the nearest 1/8 inch — we take the deductions for you and sew your panel to your size within 1/4 inch.
Still unsure? Message us with your window and we'll walk you through it before you order anything.

SEE THE FABRIC FIRST
Colour on a screen is a guess. Order the samples and look at them in your own window, at your own light, before you commit to a custom panel.
We don't charge for the fabric samples themselves — you only cover the shipping. And when you place your order, that cost is credited back to you.

HARDWARE AND HOW-TO - WATCH BEFORE YOU ORDER
Ripple fold panels only hang correctly on the right track. We filmed the four questions we get most:
- The most popular types of track and how to choose: https://youtu.be/wIlX3BvfsnE
- How to measure for drapery and sheers: https://youtu.be/Zj2vD36F68g
- Simple square track installation: https://youtu.be/oqrCEiGqAD8
- Decorative round track installation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bo9JhTKIlk8
We make the track in the same workroom and cut it to your length. Two tracks take these panels:
- Aluminum Ripple Fold Drapery Track — ripple fold carriers, custom size: https://loganovashades.com/products/aluminum-ripple-fold-drapery-track-ripple-fold-carriers-custom-size
- Vanessa Channel Rod 28 mm — ripple fold ceiling mount track, custom size: https://loganovashades.com/products/vanessa-channel-rod-28mm-ripple-fold-ceiling-track-custom-size
- All drapery hardware — tracks, brackets, batons, snap tape: https://loganovashades.com/collections/drapery-hardware
Already own a track? Send us the brand before you order and we will tell you whether our snap tape fits it.

MADE TO ORDER
Nothing here sits on a shelf. Your panel is cut after you order, to the numbers you gave us. Most orders ship in 10 days or less, direct from our Toronto workroom.
Custom items aren't returnable — so we make it right: order fabric samples first (the cost is credited to your order), and we remake anything wrong on our side.

CARE
Dry cleaning highly recommended.
The fabric itself is washable, but your panel is lined, and lining and face fabric shrink at different rates in water. A full-length drapery panel is also too large to handle properly in a home washing machine. Dry cleaning keeps them hanging as one piece.

SHIPPING, DUTIES AND CUSTOMS
Ships from our Toronto workroom with UPS, with tracking and signature required. Free shipping to USA and Canada.
Under the CUSMA / USMCA free trade agreement, tariffs do not apply to this order. UPS may still charge a small brokerage and document-processing fee at the border — usually around $10 USD. That fee is charged by the carrier for the customs crossing, not by us, and it is the only additional cost you may see.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What hardware do I need to hang a ripple fold panel?
A track fitted with ripple fold carriers. The snap tape is already sewn onto the panel itself — the carriers on your track have to be the ripple fold type that clips into that snap tape. A standard rod with rings or grommets will not hold the even S-curve. Already own a track? Send us the brand before you order.
Is shipping free to the USA and Canada?
Yes — free shipping to both. Your panel ships from our Toronto workroom by UPS with tracking and signature required, in 10 days or less. Under CUSMA / USMCA, tariffs do not apply. UPS may charge a small brokerage and document fee at the border, usually around $10 USD — the carrier's fee, not ours.
How do I care for the panel?
Dry cleaning is highly recommended. The Far fabric itself is washable, but your panel is lined, and lining and face fabric shrink at different rates in water. A full-length drapery panel is also too large to handle properly in a home washing machine, so we don't recommend it. Dry cleaning keeps the panel hanging as one piece.
Can you make a panel wider or longer than the sizes listed?
Often yes — message us before you order. The menu covers up to 130 inches wide and 108 inches long, which is what we can sew in one seamless panel. Beyond that we quote it by email and set up a draft order for you by hand, so please don't guess at checkout.
Can I return a custom panel if the colour isn't right?
Custom panels aren't returnable, because yours is cut and sewn to your numbers — so order the fabric samples first. We don't charge for the samples themselves, you only cover the shipping, and that cost is credited back when you place your order. Anything wrong on our side, we remake.
