Will a custom Roman shade fit my window?

Yes. Send your measurements and we will show you how to take them. Every shade is cut and sewn to your exact window within 1/4" (a quarter of an inch), and we send an approval sketch before we cut. If our mistake makes it wrong, we remake it.

How long does a made-to-order Roman shade take?

Your shade is made to order in our Toronto workroom and ships in 10 days or less. Most custom window treatments take six to eight weeks; ours do not.

Can I return a custom shade?

Custom means it is made for your window, so returns are not available. That is why we double-check sizing with you first and send an approval sketch before cutting. 2,000+ five-star reviews, and if it is our error, we make it right.

Do you offer blackout lining and cordless options?

Yes. Choose soft blackout or dim-out lining, and chain or cordless operation. Cordless is a child-safe choice for nurseries and bedrooms.

A waterfall of soft white faux linen, finished with a narrow black border that draws the eye and gives the window a quiet outline. The relaxed fold falls in a gentle curve rather than a crisp pleat — tailored, but never stiff. Handmade to your window in our Toronto workroom.

Made the relaxed way

No rods and no rod pockets in the face fabric. The rods are sewn into the lining layer at the back, and a few small hand stitches hold the two layers together — that is what keeps the lines straight as the shade rises, with no horizontal seams showing across the front.

Sizing and fit

Sewn to your size within 1/4 inch. Use a steel tape measure and round to the nearest 1/4 inch — we take the inside-mount deductions for you. Cordless is not offered on the largest and heaviest sizes, where the mechanism cannot carry the weight; chain or motorized is the way to go there.

Before you order

Custom items are not returnable, so it is worth starting with fabric samples. We do not charge for the samples themselves — you only cover the shipping, and that cost is credited back when you place your order. Anything wrong on our side, we remake.
