Origin Cotton Relaxed Roman Shade with Schumacher Arches Tape — Cordless, Custom Size

Origin in 100% cotton, softened by a relaxed fold and finished with Schumacher's Arches embroidered tape. The tape is the point here — a hand-drawn arch motif woven in 84% cotton / 16% rayon that runs down the leading edges and gives an otherwise quiet shade a designer's signature.

Relaxed construction. No rods or rod pockets in the face fabric — the rods are sewn into the lining behind, so the front stays smooth and the hem falls in a gentle curve. A few small hand stitches hold face and lining together; they are what keep the lines straight as the shade rises. With polycotton lining, daylight will faintly show the rod lines from the front; a dim-out or blackout lining hides them completely.

A note on blackout. Soft blackout lining comes in beige or silver-blue. Where a fabric is semi-opaque, we lay a white polycotton lining first and add the blackout as a separate layer, so the face colour stays true.

Care. Dust lightly or vacuum with an upholstery attachment; spot-clean.
