WHY MINE LOOK DIFFERENT

Most cafe curtains are quick-sewn panels. I build mine the way we build custom drapery: straight, even lines, a clean structured rod pocket, and hems that hang perfectly level. It's the difference you see in the photos — and on your window every morning.

THE FABRIC

Utopia and Brent are 100% linen sheers; Shannon Natural and Flax Linen Ivory bring the same airy, light-filtering weave. Pick your shade from the fabric swatches above — 16 colours, from crisp whites and naturals to soft greys, moss and violet. They soften the light and give you daytime privacy while keeping the kitchen bright. Order swatches first if you'd like to feel them — I recommend it.

HOW TO ORDER

1. Measure your window (I'll gladly help — just contact me).
2. Pick your fabric colour, then the size range that contains your window, then your lining.
3. Type your exact width and height per panel in the size fields — to a quarter of an inch. I sew to those numbers, not to the range.
4. Choose your rod diameter so I cut the pocket to fit, and single panel or pair. Anything else — leave it in Order notes.

Price is per ONE panel. Choose “Pair” and the quantity is set to 2.

• Made to order in my Toronto workroom, ships in 10 days or less — most custom takes six to eight weeks.
• Custom items aren't returnable, so I double-check sizing with you first — and if a mistake is on our side, I remake it.
• Standard rod pocket is 1.5" deep — it fits standard cafe, sash and tension rods up to 1" across. Pick a wider rod above and I sew a deeper pocket at no extra cost.
• These are flat panels: they hang the same whether your rod sits inside the opening or outside on the frame. Nothing to choose, nothing to get wrong.
• Care: machine wash cold on gentle or hand wash, hang to dry, warm iron if needed.

FAQ — SIZING, RODS, CARE

Is the price per panel or per pair?
Per one panel. Choose “Pair” on the page and the quantity is set to 2. Most café windows take a single panel; wide windows and French doors usually take two.

What length should a café curtain be?
A café curtain usually covers the lower half of the window. Measure from your rod down to the sill and order that height — I sew it to your exact numbers, to a quarter of an inch.

Will the rod pocket fit my rod?
Yes. The standard pocket is 1.5" deep and fits standard café, sash and tension rods up to 1" across. If your rod is thicker, choose it in the rod diameter list and I sew a deeper pocket.

Do I need to choose inside or outside mount?
No. A café panel is sewn the same either way — it hangs from a rod, so it works inside the opening or outside on the frame. Just measure to your rod.

How do I wash sheer linen café curtains?
Machine wash cold on gentle or hand wash, hang to dry, and use a warm iron if needed. Linen softens with washing and holds its colour well.
