Heavy-Duty Traverse Rod Set — One Way Draw, Cord Draw

One-way draw traverse rod set in white metal, for pinch pleat drapery that stacks entirely to one side. You choose the draw side — Left or Right — when you add it to the cart. Smooth cord-draw operation, built for heavy fabrics such as linen, velvet and blackout panels.

What is in the set

• 2 wall brackets. One end bracket on the cord side — where the panel gathers and stacks — and one support bracket carrying the finished end.
• Center support brackets — extra mid-span bracing on the longer rods, in addition to the two wall brackets above. A spec line reading "0 center supports" means no mid-span bracing is needed at that width. It does not mean the rod arrives with a single bracket.
• Rod sections with built-in nylon gliders (carriers), and the draw cord.

Left or right — how to choose

Stand in the room facing the window. Left draw = the panel stacks on the left and the cord hangs on the left. Right draw = stack and cord on the right.

This rod carries one panel. If you want two panels meeting in the middle, order the Center Open traverse rod set instead. If you already own a one-way rod and want to split it, our one-way to centre-open conversion kit adds the master carrier.

Sizes and specifications

Each rod telescopes across the range shown — measure your window width and choose the range it falls inside. Return (projection from the wall) is 3 1/2" to 4" on every size.

About the number printed on the carton. Right-draw and left-draw rods are the same rod mirrored, so each one carries its own reference number. A 48"–84" rod ordered for right draw is marked #2035; the same size for left draw is marked #2045. If the number on your box matches the draw side you selected at checkout, you have received exactly what you ordered.

Will it work with my drapery?

• Made for pinch pleat / French pleat panels hung on drapery pins into the glider eyelets.
• Not intended for grommet, rod-pocket or tab-top curtains — those need a decorative pole.
• Mounts to the wall above the window or to the ceiling.
• Allow roughly 2 to 2.5 times the installed rod width in flat fabric for proper fullness.
