Tuscany Linen European Relaxed Valance — Decorative, Custom Size

A soft, gently draped topper in our Tuscany fabric — 100% linen, with the natural slubs and quiet irregularity that only real linen has. The European relaxed cut lets the bottom edge fall into an easy curve, so the window looks finished without looking formal.

Please read: this is a decorative, stationary valance. It does not raise or lower. There are no cords, no chain, no mechanism of any kind — it mounts at the top of the window and stays there. If you need a working shade that opens and closes, look at our Roman shades instead.

It suits living rooms, dining rooms, offices and any window where you want softness and warmth rather than privacy or light control. Many customers pair it with blinds or sheers underneath.

How it's made

Every valance is cut and sewn for one particular window in our Toronto workroom. Sewn to your size within 1/4 inch. Most orders ship in 10 days or less, direct from our Toronto workroom.

Fabric samples

Linen shifts with the light, so it's worth seeing it in your own room first. We don't charge for the fabric samples themselves — you only cover the shipping. And when you place your order, that cost is credited back to you.

Measuring

For an inside mount, measure the exact width inside the window opening. For an outside mount, add 2–3 inches on each side so the valance overlaps the frame. Tell us the finished size you want and we make it to that number — no deductions applied on our end.
