The Tuscany flat Roman shade is sewn from 100% European linen to your exact window measurements — within an eighth of an inch. Each shade is made to order in our Toronto workroom and ships in 10 days or less, with clean horizontal folds that stack neatly when raised.

Linen colours: White, Eggshell, Natural, Linen, Dune, Oyster, Prism, Gleam, Cadet Grey, True Grey, Charcoal Grey, Black and more. Choose your colour in the fabric selector above — each colour has its own swatch preview — or order free swatches first to see the linen in your light.

How it's made. The classic flat Roman shade has rod pockets constructed with two seams on the shade's front, connecting the front fabric and lining. Rods inserted into the pockets create a gentle relief. With polycotton lining, light passes through and highlights the rods; with blackout lining you won't see the lines, but you keep the clean relief. Horizontal stitches hold the front fabric and lining together and form straight lines as the shade goes up. For blackout, we add a separate back layer for maximum light protection — the face colour stays true.

Options. Chain, cordless or motorized lift. Chain is child-safe corded: the operating cord runs enclosed in a wall-mounted cord channel, with no loose loop. Lining: polycotton or blackout (this linen is opaque — sheer lining isn't offered).

Can I return a custom shade? Custom items aren't returnable — so we make it right: order free swatches first, and we remake anything wrong on our side.

How long until it ships? Most orders ship in 10 days or less, direct from our Toronto workroom — most custom shades take six to eight weeks elsewhere.

Aren't corded blinds banned? No — our corded design is child-safe: the operating cord runs fully enclosed in a wall-mounted cord channel, with no loose or looped cord.
